Born and raised in Jacksonville, Shanin — Shay to friends, Sunshine when she’s slinging hot dogs — has always had an entrepreneurial spark. She started young, selling lemonade at seven, and ran a hot dog cart as a teen, loving every messy minute.
Years later, a friend asked, “Have you ever thought about doing the hot dog cart again? You would kill it!” Those words stuck. In March 2025, she ditched the corporate grind, built her cart from scratch, and brought her YouTube followers along for the adventure, sharing every sizzle, flop, and behind-the-scenes laugh. What started as one foodie’s dream quickly turned into a community movement; today the "Sunshine Squad" is nearly 70k strong and growing.
